My balance came to zero, since my 2.00ECB was reduced to 1.89ECB. My tax came to 21 cents, which was my total out-of-pocket for this tiny purchase. Buying two CVS sunscreen products generated a 5.00ECB.
So I started with 8.99ECB, spent 4.49ECB (losing 11 cents), but earned back 5.00ECB. My current ECB total for this card is 10.50ECB.
